It’s no secret that Prince Edward County is a wonderful place to celebrate milestones with a couple’s session. There is something about sneaking away from the ordinary to experience the winery themed island that makes the event that much sweeter.

When Kyle and Renee approached me to help organize and capture their anniversary weekend, I was so excited! It was June and the wineries were just starting to bloom, plus a stunning and newly renovated Airbnb had just opened their booking calendar. It was the perfect opportunity to pool together a collaboration for this deserving couple.

I quickly set to work in booking the Airbnb, now called Water’s Edge (@watersedge.pec). Then booked Renee’s hair and makeup with the talented Clair at Bloom Artistry. Quickly followed by ensuring we could use some space at The Grange of Prince Edward Winery – one of the prettiest wineries of PEC.

Once the stage was set, it was easy for their story to unfold. The mood was relaxed while Clair did Renee’s hair and makeup, and Kyle put his feet up. Against the sound of the water, we traded stories, poured drinks and took things slow.

Next up was getting them getting ready together in the gorgeous bathroom. This is something I would suggest to all couples who are planning to elope. It creates a level of intimacy and storytelling that will always be unique to your story.

Once they were ready and the sun started to get lower in the sky, we popped some bubbly to celebrate and then I drove us to The Grange of Prince Edward Winery. While the sun started to set, they danced between the grape vines and cuddled in the tall grasses. I couldn’t imagine a more PEC moment for this couple’s session.
