In case you haven’t heard of Carriage Lane Elopements in Prince Edward County, let me introduce you.
Whether you call it an elopement, a mico-wedding, mini-wedding or even an intimate family event, there’s one thing all these titles have in common and the idea is make your wedding day as small, as easy and as fun as possible.
Before you start to plan for your special day, I highly recommend you sit down as a couple and decide what elements of the day (besides the obvious part of getting married) are important to you as a couple. Is it the photography? Is it the flowers? Is it the food? Or maybe, just maybe it’s really important to have water as the backdrop.
Once you’ve answered those questions, I would check out Carriage Lane Elopements, located in beautiful Prince Edward County. Your hosts and organizers, Lisa and Craig, are very experienced in curating an experience that suits your needs and wants. From choosing your flowers, your cake and drinks to providing you a list of talented photographers to choose from (including myself) to help capture these moments so you can share them with the people who did (or didn’t) get to be there with you.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lisa & Craig a handful of times this year, and below is a perfect representation of what a day at their Lake on the Mountain location looks like. Side note: They have a second location which is also waterfront-friendly on Carriage Lane, hence the name.
Below you will find Lillian and Thibault’s wedding day which took place just this past July. Despite the power going out in all of Prince Edward Country and the hot sun that day, they knew their day was in good hands, and as you can tell by their smiles (and that last shot) it’ll always be a memorable one.
