Last week I had the pleasure of checking out Occasions By The Bay. Before I moved here I contacted Valerie Stire and she was more than happy to give me the grand tour of the venue and tell me about the amenities they offer.
My impressions upon pulling into the driveway were mixed because the venue is located beside an RV sales lot. However, once I passed the sales lot I didn’t even notice the RV’s! I was pleased to see they have maintained a large hedge around the portion of the property that blocks out any view of the RV’s. As you can see from the photos, you can’t even see the lot! So don’t be fooled, you’re photos of the wedding day will still look lovely.
Once I pulled in, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who was cutting the grass. If there’s two things that stood out most about the Occasions By The Bay, it was the staff and the landscaping. Everyone was friendly and had a great sense of humour. This being said, there is no question they take their job seriously. They often have back to back wedding weekends and they seem ready for anything: setting up, taking down, rehearsals, where to take photos…. everything is set! I’m told they are a one stop shop, all you need is your cake and flowers; they can take care of the rest.
