I finally have some time to relax and sort through photos to blog Leena & Matt’s beautiful Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club Wedding near Hamilton, Ontario.  It’s been a busy 2017 season, but I’m incredibly thankful to all the couples who shared their day with me and I’m looking forward to blogging them.  I thought I would start with Leena & Matt since their wedding is seasonably appropriate – hope you’re all keeping warm out there!

I met Leena through her sister, another talented photographer over at Splash Photography.  Since her sister, Andrea would be IN the wedding she couldn’t capture the moments AND be in them… though, I’m sure she would have tried.

I would also love to give a shout out to their wedding coordinator, Anna of Spunky Sapphire Events & Design.  This woman moved like an organized ninja through the room making sure all the little details were where they should be.  This would include lighting all the candles at the 20-person head table.  That’s a lot of candles!

The staff at Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club were also fantastic!  The Catering Manager, Leigh made sure the bride and groom AND the vendors were taken care of.  She gave us a quick tour of where we could go for photos since the grounds were icy and unsafe for golf carts.  She also gave suggestions on how to keep warm throughout the chilly sub-zero temperatures during outdoor photos.

This brings me to my next thank you: Leena & Matt for braving the super chilly November weather for photos.  We took frequent breaks, had an outdoor dance party with the wedding party to help keep warm and found ways to stay cozy in the sunshine.  If you ask me, it was totally worth it and you would never know there was a chill in the air.  I also want to thank these guys for the glowing review they left on WeddingWire.
